Ruined Earth was founded in Baltimore in early 2023 when Bryan Yingling (Vocals), Jason Yingling (Guitar), Matthew Marzolf (Drums) and David Morgan (Guitar) began fusing death metal concepts with a grind and hardcore edge. The following winter they would enter the studio to record their debut full-length release, adding Christopher Fink (Bass) just in time for him to take on mastering duties. “The Age of Ash” was released in July of 2025, featuring 9 songs over 35 minutes with searing guitars and blisteringly tormented vocals juxtaposing personal loss with the conditions of a dystopian hellscape of a planet firmly set on course for its inevitable demise.
